Alecos Gabrielides was invited to speak about his experience as a practicing architect since the decade of the sixties, alongside other colleagues from this time; Mr. Phillipou, Mr. Kythreotis and Mr. Fereos.
The symposium included an exhibition on selected works from Cypriot architect work in the sixties as well as a book publication compiled in both the English and Greek languages.
Two of Mr. Gabrielides early works are included in this book; the Carlsberg Brewery from 1967-68 and the Excelsior Hotel from 1963.
